But why pray to Jesus specifically? According to the Bible, Book of Hebrews 4:15 (NLT), "We do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses." Praying to Jesus means reaching out to a God who understands us intimately.
Listening to Jesus is an integral part of this divine conversation. It's not always about audible words. God can communicate through a verse that stands out in our Bible reading, through the advice of a friend, or a sudden inspiration or conviction. It's about being receptive and attentive. As stated in the Bible, Book of Psalm 46:10 (NLT), "Be still, and know that I am God!" Cultivating a quiet heart before God is key.
